It’s been a while. Time to dust off this digital notebook, grab the metaphorical pen, and get back into this blogging thing. Alright, now with that terrible pun out of the way, let’s actually start this post. Yesterday we had a tech workshop, or something like that. I don’t know if it even had a proper name. The point was to play around with gadgets and see how they can be used in practical ways. We formed groups, and everyone had to draw two little cards, one of which had a piece of technology on it, while the other was a client we had to “work” for. We got the LEAP Motion.

Well that was definitely an interesting session. We started out with watching a short film about solvent abuse called „Illusion”. The twist was that the commentary had been replaced with strange and noisy background music, which for the last two minutes turns into a beautifully calming ambient track that’s like something from a Trent Reznor soundtrack. I also adore those small voice samples that were used, and echo away.
